Common Sense

One day all the young Punjabis gathered in one meeting place. They had gathered there to get the solution of common sense.
Harbinder: Well! Friends, we all know that we have everything like riches, name and fame. We are in every part of the world but we lack the only thing do you know what it may be?
Joginder: It is our common sense.
Harbinder: Exactly well said. But what should we do? How should we solve this problem?
Mohinder: I have a solution if you take it.
Joginder: tell us what’s your solution?
Mohinder: well! We will go to America and study about it.
All: that’s wonderful idea. When shall we move?
Harbinder: would you mind if I correct our idea a bit, Mohinder?
Joginder: yeh! Go on.
Harbinder: among us, if we choose the one for going America that would save our money. We will contribute for his study and journey too. And later one, when he comes back, he has to teach us.
All: That’s great idea.
Finally they chose Harbinder. So the joinery was set for him. He reached America. In America, once he was in the bus, sitting next to the driver. The driver asked him why he had come to America. He explained everything to the driver. The driver burst into laughter. He was little bit annoyed with the driver and asked him why he was laughing at him. The driver explained that it was not necessary for him to come in America for such a common matter. The driver started making him realize why it was common and easy. He gave him example.
The Bus Driver: sir. I have my wife and son at home. Now tell me who is the father?
Poor Harbiner he hadn’t the common sense, so he couldn’t reply his answer. He tried his best to find out who the father was. So he said that it was very difficult question for him to answer. That is why he had come for.
The drive said, ‘sir, I said I have my wife and my son so, it’s very simple that the father is no other than me. Isn’t it clear? Finally, Harbinder understood it and started laughing aloud. Laughingly he said, ‘so this is common sense. I could have known it before. Thank you gentleman for your help. Now, I don’t need to stay here anymore as you have already taught what the common sense is’.
The next day he flew back to his country and called all his friends. He was proud about his achievement. Their friends were wondering how he managed to learn so soon.
At The Meeting Hall:
Harbinder: well, my friends you might be surprised to see me soon. Because of my intelligence, I come to learn very quickly about the common sense (he said proudly).
Joginder: congratulation! Now, we hope you’ll be teaching us today.
Harbinder put on the same question to them that the American driver had once asked him.
Harbinder: look! I have a son and a wife. Now, you people answer me who the father is?
Like him, nobody could give the answer.
Harbinder: now, can’t you give me such a simple answer.
All: we gave up. Please, tell us the answer.
Harbinder: this is what we call common sense. I said I have my son and my wife and asked you who the father was but you couldn’t answer. Your answer is the driver!
